What it does on a call

• Answers every call, and says it is an automated host in its opening line.
• Takes a booking: party size, date, time, name.
• Changes or cancels an existing booking.
• Offers the waitlist when the restaurant is full, and rings back when a table opens.
• Asks whether the guest may be texted, and sends nothing unless they say yes.

Text messages

Guests receive a booking confirmation, and a reminder before their table if their restaurant has switched reminders on. Every message identifies the restaurant and carries Reply STOP to opt out. Message and data rates may apply. Messages are sent only to a guest who agreed on the call.
