Masterclass US Corp. runs an AI phone host on behalf of restaurants. When you call a restaurant that uses it, you are speaking to that restaurant's line and the agent says so in its opening words.
We do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers or messaging consent with anyone, and we do not share them with third parties for marketing.
A guest is asked during the call whether they may be texted on the number they rang from. Nothing is sent unless they said yes: a call where the question was never reached counts as no, and is never treated as agreement. Messages are transactional — a booking confirmation, a change or cancellation, a reminder before the table, a waitlist opening, or a deposit hold. Every one carries Reply STOP to opt out, and STOP is honoured immediately. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
Call content — the transcript, the AI summary, and on some non-restaurant lines a recording — is deleted automatically after 90 days. The restaurant phone product stores no audio at all.
Business records — the booking itself, or a message taken for the restaurant — belong to the restaurant and are kept as its own books. They are not deleted on a timer, because losing next week's covers to a retention clock would be destroying the restaurant's data to protect a guest's.
Ask the restaurant, or write to us at mrejaj@gmail.com, and a caller's personal details are erased: name, number, what they said, and their transcripts. A booking keeps its date, time and party size so the restaurant's evening still adds up, and the name becomes [removed].
The call is carried, transcribed and answered using third-party providers acting as processors on our instructions — telephony and messaging, speech recognition, a language model, and speech synthesis. They handle the call in order to deliver it. None of them is given the data to sell or to market to you.
